Marilyn Cole, Early Ave Maria Resident, Dies at Age 89

Marilyn Cole, who was among the first people to move to the new town of Ave Maria, died Wednesday after a brief illness. Her funeral will be held Wednesday in her native Connecticut.

Donahue Shamrocks Roll into Playoffs Undefeated

The Donahue Academy Shamrocks soundly defeated Solid Rock 41-12 in Tarpon Springs Friday to finish their regular eight-man football season undefeated. The Shamrocks have a bye in the first round of the playoffs and will play their next game at home Nov. 18.
