Record Home Sales in Ave Maria in 2016

Ave Maria Development (AMD) reports that a record 342 homes were sold in 2016, a 20-percent increase from the previous year. Ave Maria has been the fastest selling new home community in Southwest Florida for the last seven consecutive quarters, said AMD's Cee Cee Marinelli.

The Donahue Academy Shamrocks won the state 8-man football championship Saturday with a convincing 40-13 win over City Of Life from Kissimee in a game at Southewastern Unviersity in Lakeland, FL.

Sheriff's deputies have charged a 42-year-old Ave Maria man with at least 50 counts of possessing child pornography after police seized devices with at least 100 images and videos from his home on Ferrari Ave.
