Arthrex Plant Preparing to Open in April

The Arthrex Manufacturing East facility on Oil Well Rd. in Ave Maria is on schedule to begin preliminary operations in April and the company plans to break ground on a second building in the fall, a company spokesman said.

Cardinal Donald Wuerl, just three days before leaving for the papal conclave in Rome, praised Ave Maria University for its committment to quality education and its mission to instill values in young people. The cardinal spoke at an AMU fundraising dinner in Naples, at which an honorary doctorate degree was conferred on AMU supporter Rhodora Donahue.Above Mrs. Donahue with Cardinal Wuerl, her husband, Jack, and AMU President Jim Towey.
