Memorial Day at the Water Park - Food, Music and Fun

Arthrex Readies Plant for Summer Production

 Manufacturing will begin gearing up in July at the new Arthrex facility in Ave Maria, company Director of Manufacturing Andy Owen (above) said during a tour of the plant for the Ave Herald. "You'd be hard-pressed to find a manufacturing facility like it anywhere in the world," he said.

New Leadership for Ave Maria Quasi Parish

Fr. Robert Tatman, who has been in charge of the Quasi Parish of Ave Maria Oratory since its formation in 2008, has announced he is being reassigned as part of a reshuffle of parish administration in the Diocese of Venice. He said his replacement will be Fr. Cory Mayer, currently parochial vicar at Epiphany Cathedral in Venice and the diocesan director of vocations.

Sailing Adventure to the Dry Tortugas

 Eleven Ave Maria residents and friends sailed to the Dry Tortugas islands -- a 200-mile round trip -- May 10-14 aboard Bob Campbell's 36-foot sailboat the Jubilee -- the only ship federally registered with a home port of Ave Maria Florida.
