Gas Station Update: Opening Now Expected May 29

The Mobil gas station and convenience store opening now is targeted for May 29, according to Phil Toye of station owner Automated Petroleum and Energy, who said Wednesday that the latest delay is caused by a few unexpected difficulties. 

AMU Basketball Coach Copeland Leaving

Highly-regarded Ave Maria University basketball coach Jamon Copeland resigned Monday after four seasons, during which time he steadily improved the team's performance on the court and in the classroom. He will be head basketball coach at the University of Texas at Tyler, an NCAA Division III program.

Ave Maria Law Graduates Include Two Remarkable for Their Ages

Fifty years separate the ages of two graduates of the Ave Maria School of Law, which held its commencement exercises Saturday. John Arceri, 70, is believed to be the oldest law school graduate ever in Florida and Mellina Fortunato, 20, one of the youngest.
