Parish Center to Open May 15

The new parish center for the Ave Maria quasi parish will open May 15 with a pancake breakfast after the 10 a.m. Mass, Pastor Fr. Cory Mayer said Thursday. Alan and Renée Beckner have announced that be closing their jewelry store in Ave Maria in May. Beckner Jewelry and Repair was one of the first businesses to open in town.

Donahue Shakespeare in Performance Troupe to Perform 'Romeo and Juliet'

It's the season for Shakespeare in Ave Maria. The new Donahue Academy Shakespeare in Performance troupe (above), under the direction of AMU alumni Peter Atkinson, will perform Romeo and Juliet May 6-8.

AMU Equestrian Team Has Strong Showing This Year

The team, the only one at AMU that competes against NCAA Division I schools, placed well this spring and are looking forward to competing in the next academic year.
