Political Call Center Opens This Week in Ave Maria

The phone lines will be open this week at a new political call center that begins operations in Ave Maria Tuesday, March 25.

Jeff Butzke, president of Advantage, Inc., said his firm's first 15 Ave Maria employees will start training this week at offices on the third floor of the bank building, with another 15 people scheduled to begin work the following week.

"The majority are from the Ave Maria community – either the town or the university," Mr. Butzke said.

The company, which provides services such as fundraising, opinion polling, advocacy calls, Get Out the Vote calls, and other telephoning on behalf of political candidates and organizations, is continuing to hire both full-time and part-time employees who can work a minimum of 20 hours a week between the hours of 3 p.m. and 11 p.m. Interested applicants should send email to This email address is being protected from spambots.
