AT&T Adds Broadband Capacity in Ave Maria

AT&T has increased its mobile broadband capability in Ave Maria as part of a boost in wireless capability in southwest Florida that was announced Tuesday.
The carrier, which uses a wireless tower near South Park in Ave Maria, said in a statement that it has increased high-speed mobile broadband capacityat a total of 18 sites in Collier, Lee, Glades and Hendry counties. In addition to the Ave Maria site, the improvements will provide better service from sites serving Immokalee and Naples. AT&T also said it has upgraded capabilities in Moore Haven, LaBelle and Punta Gorda to begin offering high-speed mobile data capability.
AT&T added high-speed 3G service in Ave Maria last year.
