Westwood Christian had just the minimum of six players, who all played ever down on offense and defense.
"My hat's off to Westwood for playing the entire game with only six players," said Shamrocks coach Rich Scanlon. "As a team we still have some things to improve on and we need to work on that this week as we prepare for a very physical Nicea team from Naples next week." (right, Jason Walker)
Leading 33-0 at the half, coach Rich Scanlon was able to give some of the younger freshman players more playing time. John Longley played most of the second half at quarterback and Anders Lenardson scored the game's final touchdown on a 53-yard run.
Gabe Allan scored three other TD's for the Shamrocks and Dan Scarnechia, Joe Guernsey and Michael Dauphinais added one each.
The Shamrocks next face Nicea Academy of Naples in a home game at North Park Sept. 25. (Below, Billy Rivera at the game)
