Three Receive Ave Maria "Poet's Corner" Award

Three poems by members of the Ave Maria community were recognized with the first Ave Maria Poet's Corner awards as part of this year's contest for poems written about The Annunciation. According to Marylin Krepf, chair of the poetry committee for The Festival of the Arts, the recognition is "not only for the excellence of their poems but also for their contribution to the art of poetry within the Ave Maria community." The winners were: Patricia Sette for The Power of the Most High Shall Overshadow You, Fr. Robert McTeigue, S.J., for The Annunciation,and Michael Novak for The Lord God in Embryo.
