The Institute of Pastoral Theology is offering a number of opportunities to become familiar with its courses and its professors this weekend at Ave Maria University.

The IPT, which is a graduate program in theology designed for the non-traditional student, has open classes from Friday to Sunday, Feb. 12-14. More details about the open classes, and the schedule, are here.

Friday evening, in addition to the open class that night, IPT professor Lawrence Feingold will speak at the Queen Mary Pub at 8 p.m. on  "Eros, Agape and the Passion of Christ: A Reflection on Natural and Supernatural Love." The talk will be based on Pope Benedict’s encyclical, Deus Caritas Est, and is intended as a preparation for Valentine’s Day and Lent. Admission to the lecture is free.
