The women's team posted the first winning season of any Ave Maria University sports team. Coach Bob Batson was named the Sun Conference Coach of the Year and Emily Huber (right) was picked Freshman of the Year. The men won 6 of their last 8 games and were in 4th place in a 12-team conference.
