A farewell party for Fr. Robert Tatman, pastor of the Quasi Parish of Ave Maria Oratory, will be held with a pot luck supper Saturday, June 8, at 6 p.m. in the ballroom of the Ave Maria University student union. All are welcome.

The organizers of the party have developed guidelines for what to bring based on alphabetical groupings of last names. The suggestions:

A - D bring appetizers
E - F bring salads
G - M bring a main dish or a meat dish
N - Q bring a dessert
R - V supply drinks/ice
W - Y/Z supply the paper/plastic products

Fr. Tatman moves to a new assignment at San Antonio Church in Port Charlotte Monday, June 10, after serving at Ave Maria since the parish's inception in early 2008. His last mass in Ave Maria will be at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, June 9, a traditional Latin Mass in the extraordinary form.
